Kirsten Jensen - Community Outreach Director - MD
Kirsten's journey into the world of autism intervention began during her studies at UMD College Park, where she focused on psychology and special education. With nearly 8 years of experience under her belt, she has transitioned from working directly with children to taking on administrative roles, utilizing her strengths in executive functioning, mentorship, and building connections.
Kirsten is driven by her belief in the transformative power of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for individuals with autism. She has seen firsthand the positive impact it can have, helping individuals navigate challenges and thrive with confidence and independence.
In her role as the community outreach director at Blue Balloon in Maryland, Kirsten is passionate about sharing her knowledge and experiences. She loves engaging with the community through speaking engagements, training sessions, and online platforms to spread awareness and inspire positive change within the autism community.
Kirsten's ultimate goal is to empower individuals with autism and advocate for a more inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their neurodiversity.
